To help organizations and corporations - as well as individuals of all ages - realize their creative potential, Nellie has formulated a Creative X-SpotŪ Toolbox which offers various elements to inspire creative thinking and doing.
Herstory Nellie is an award-winning artist, best selling author, free-lance writer, speaker, workshop facilitator, and online columnist.
She has been an elementary school teacher, publisher, and television host of MAMMA Speaks Out - a weekly, hour-long phone-in interview show.
Nellie has served as Workshop Director for the Metropolitan Toronto Branch of the Canadian Authors Association and as committee chair of the Writers Union of Canada Newsletter. Nellie is a member of the Creativity Coaching Association and the Canadian steering committee of World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15-21.
Clientele Nellie has inspired individuals and groups for decades. Over the years, she has also presented to and worked with private groups and such diverse associations and institutions such as students at University of Toronto, staff at the University of GuelphHumber, Jamaican Treasure Beach Women's Group, Women's International Network (WIN), British Columbia Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC), Creativity Week at OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design), Celebrity Constellation Cruise ship - and televison and radio audiences.
Media Coverage For more than two decades, Nellie Jacobs and her projects have been featured in local and regional newspapers such as the Vancouver Sun, The Star Phoenix, Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, and Montreal's The Gazette.
She was the subject of, or resource for, such magazines as Quill and Quire, Homemaker's, Chatelaine, Today's Parent and Financial Post. Nellie has been a guest on radio and television from coast to coast, including CITY TV's Breakfast Television, Canada AM, and CBC radio and television.
She has been interviewed by such prominent Canadian personalities as Jeanne Beker, Michael Coren, Vicki Gabereau, Dan Matheson, Dini Petty, Ann Rohmer, Michelle Landsberg, and Ellie Tesher. She has appeared as guest on internet radio programs, as well.
